Evelin Delchev — Senior Concept Artist Frankfurt, DE & London, UK

I'm Evelin, a concept artist and designer with 15+ years of experience, specializing in environment designs.
TL;DR
I was born in Varna, Bulgaria, and grew up in Turkey before moving to the United Kingdom. Over the past 15+ years, I have had the privilege of working with remarkable individuals and brands. My experience spans significant projects with industry leaders like Turkish Airlines, Frontier Developments, and Splash Damage, where I contributed to shaping visual identities and creating captivating concept art for the game and film industries.
2013
After completing my education, I began my career as a Senior Designer at Magic Click Digital, where I specialized in UI/UX design and played a key role in developing digital experiences for various banks and corporations. During my tenure, I led the design of numerous projects, including user experiences for major financial institutions. My work here laid the foundation for my expertise in digital design.
2017
Following a successful stint at Magic Click Digital, I transitioned to a Creative Art Director role at Turkish Airlines. Here, I spearheaded the visual direction for the airline's new website, crafting content that highlighted global destinations for passengers. My role was crucial in shaping the brand’s digital presence, bringing innovative design concepts to life.
2019
My passion for character and environmental design led me to Frontier Developments, where I joined as a Concept Artist. At Frontier, I was responsible for developing futuristic character designs and played a significant role in defining the visual identity of the projects I worked on, particularly in shaping the final looks of advanced equipment and environments.
2021
My journey continued at Splash Damage as a Senior Concept Artist. Here, I took on the responsibility of creating design documents that guided the art team and defined thematic elements across multiple projects. My most notable work involved shaping the environmental elements for the Transformers universe, where I contributed to the development of expansive and immersive worlds.
Currently
Alongside my freelance projects, I am fully immersed in studying environments and anatomy, sharing my progress through detailed commentaries on my favorite TV shows and anime. Each element demands careful attention, resulting in long, focused hours of work. Yet, this is what I love most, and I consider it a privilege to have the time to pursue these passions.
What I do

My work focuses on innovative, minimalist concepts that push the boundaries of game design, particularly in environmental and character art.

When I’m not creating art, I’m immersed in the world of computer games and Japanese anime. Some of my favorite games include

Quake, Counter-Strike, Destiny, Halo, Borderlands, Grand Theft Auto, Death Stranding, Metal Gear Solid, Cyberpunk 2077, Dirt, Forza Horizon, Colin McRae Rally, Red Dead Redemption and Black Myth Wukong.

In terms of anime, I’m particularly fond of Animatrix, along with classics like Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Ghost in the Shell. My list of favorites also includes Planetes, Megalobox, Psycho-Pass, Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Blame, and many others.
As I continue my journey through the realms of concept art, I am ever in pursuit of that perfect creation. One day, I will craft a piece that not only defines my artistic vision but also deeply resonates with my soul.

Thank you for joining me on this creative exploration.
